Instant Kambu Dosa Recipe - Pearl Millet Dosa


Kambu Mavu dosai - Pearl millet is known as Bajra in Hindi, Kambu in tamil and sajjaluin Telugu. These kambu dosa / bajra dosas are made with whole grains and are healthy, good in taste and texture. This is one of the very old recipes that I have been using

Serves: 3


INGREDIENTS

  • Kambu Mavu / Pearl Millet - 1 cup

  • Wheat flour / Atta - ¼ cup

  • Water as needed

  • Salt to taste

  • Onion - 1 small chopped finely

  • Green Chillies - 2 chopped finely

  • Ginger - 2 tsp chopped finely

  • Coriander Leaves - 3 tblsp chopped finely

  • Oil for making dosa



STEPS

  1. Mix all ingredients except oil.

  2. Heat the tawa.

  3. Pour a ladleful of batter from a height. Drizzle oil around the edges.

  4. Cook till golden in the bottom.

  5. Flip over and cook.

  6. Serve.
