Caramel Bread Pudding


Caramel bread pudding(eggless) with homemade caramel sauce recipe. Just steaming over stove top, no oven

Preparation Time: 30 Minutes

Serves: 4

INGREDIENTS

  • Sugar - 1/4 cup + 3 tble Water (For Caramel)

  • Bread - 6 slice

  • Custard powder - 2 tbsp

  • Water - 1/2 cup

  • Milk - 2 cup

  • Sugar - 1/2 cup


Caramel Bread Pudding

STEPS

  1. Cut the bread edges and make into pieces, grind and make crumbs.

  2. In a saucepan melt sugar with 3 tbsp of water on a medium heat. Once the sugar turns golden brown (caramel), pour it into a baking tin/pan.

  3. Heat milk and sugar on a pan. Mix custard powder with 1/2 cup of water.

  4. Pour the custard powder mix to the milk and cook for 2 minutes.

  5. Now add breadcrumbs little by little and mix well without any lumbs.

  6. Pour the mixture to the mold and cook for 30 minutes in a medium flame.

  7. Once cool to touch, place them in the refrigerator for 2 hrs and then invert into a plate.
